Restructuring of Credit Facilities > Procedure of the Appeals Process

In accordance with the Directive on Arrears Management of 2015 issued by the Central Bank of Cyprus regarding the Code of Conduct between Authorised Credit Institutions and borrowers in financial difficulties, you have the right to submit an appeal to the Appeals Committee of ARAB JORDAN INVESTMENT BANK Cyprus Branch regarding its decision on your restructuring proposal.

The appeal must be in writing by filling out the Submission of Appeal on Restructuring Form, available here (The form is also available at our offices). The form should be completed in full, signed by the borrower and sent with all supporting documents either :

• (i) by post to the Bank’s address :
  P.O.Box 54384, 3723 – Limassol, Cyprus - Attention Customer Service Manager, or
  


• (ii) Via e-mail to info.cy@ajib.com
  

According to the Directive, the Appeals Committee will provide the borrower with an official acknowledgement of the appeal, which may not be later than twenty one (21) days from the date of receipt of the appeal / complaint. An official decision regarding the borrower’s appeal may not be more than two (2) months from the date of receipt of the appeal.
