Cyprus lifestyle - Locals and foreigners alike enjoy a high standard of living. Cyprus is considered to be a very diverse and cosmopolitan place to live in, in that a total of 180.000 foreign nationals live and work in Cyprus, a percentage of 22% of the country’ s total population. Cyprus has an excellent reputation for being a safe and friendly place.

Infrastructure – Cyprus has a highly educated and multilingual workforce which poses the highest percentage of university graduates per capita in Europe

Healthcare - Healthcare in Cyprus is cheap and effective, and is yet another reason many expats relocate to the island. Public healthcare is either inexpensive or free, at least for citizens of the EU, and even private healthcare costs can be relatively affordable.

Education – Educational standards are very high in Cyprus and offer a range of reputable public and private schools. You can find junior and secondary schools which cater for English, Russian, French, Arabic and Armenian speaking pupils.
The local Colleges and Universities are recognised internationally and for those wishing to further their education abroad, schools following the British Education System, or preparing candidates for entry into Universities in Europe or the United States, are also widely available.

Language - Although the native language is Greek, English is the predominant business language.

Travel & Connections - The country's capital and government is based in Nicosia, located in the center of Cyprus. Limassol, the country’s main trade centre and one of the busiest ports in the Mediterranean, is located right on the southern coast and is approximately one hour’s drive from Nicosia. Cyprus main international airport located in Larnaca is approximately 40 minutes away from each of these two main centers.

Personal Tax System – Cyprus has a favourable personal tax system which provides many incentives to attract top caliber executives and highly paid employees to live and work in Cyprus.
